Grid and Lat/Long Data identifies well spots tied to a US land grid, integrating lease data and map coordinates for project visualization. US energy spatial data is updated daily and includes over 300,000 pre-1970 Texas wells not available through the Texas Railroad Commission. Subscribers can:

  • IHS Markit also offers a separate Land Grid for the Western U.S., from Energy / Premier, based on coordinate positions obtained from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. This survey framework includes lots, tracts and special survey information.
