Bob Fryklund

Mr. Fryklund is a recognized industry thought leader on all aspects of the Upstream. He advises Boards, CEO's and management teams on strategic direction. He has been involved in many of the industries pivotal projects - TOR acquisition by Petrobras, a$10 billion arbitration; Oil export approval in the US; and restructuring of several of the industries major operators. He focusses on helping companies understand future trends and how to position themselves in the market. He also provides advice on how to build a better narative for shareholders. Mr. Fryklund has 40 yrs in the industry and has been an senior executive at ConocoPhillips as well as at IHS Markit. He sits on four industry Boards and is chair of the supply and demand committee at the Independent Petroluem Association of America (IPAA). He is a frequent industry executive speaker as well as media source for the major outlets. Mr. Fryklund holds a AB in Geology from Hamilton College and lives in Houston.

Daniel Pratt, CFA

Mr. Pratt has 20 years of experience in the Upstream sector, helping build relationships with clients and supporting IHS Markit consulting and sales. His primary focus is on company analysis and understanding the valuation, strategy and performance of the world's leading upstream oil and gas companies, while providing a quantitative assessment of a company's ability to successfully execute its strategy, generate cash flow, and create shareholder value. Under his leadership, the Energy Transaction Research team is generating critical independent insights into the energy merger, acquisition and divestiture marketplace, and is dedicated to analyzing deals on a daily basis, while providing proprietary deal pricing, valuation benchmarks and M&A trend analysis. After two years as director of Oil & Gas Research at Ticonderoga Securities, where he covered North American E&P equities, writing research to serve institutional investors, Mr. Pratt returned to IHS Markit (now IHS Markit) in 2011. Previously, he spent the first 12 years of his career as an IHS Markit Herold equity analyst covering North American and International E&Ps. Mr. Pratt is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member of the Stamford CFA Society. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester, United States.

Irena Agalliu

Ms. Irena Agalliu is an expert in international energy law and economics, worldwide fiscal arrangements, commercial risk and aboveground risk investment-related issues. She has extensive experience assessing commercial and regulatory risk and advising governments and NOCs on regulatory and contractual developments that impact E&P activities worldwide and assisting governments in formulating policies.Irena's major projects include assistance to the government of Mexico in development of industrial safety regulations for upstream oil and gas activities; assistance to the government of Colombia in development of offshore regulations, as well as development of fiscal and contractual framework for shale gas, tight oil and CBM; assistance to the legislature of North Dakota regarding fiscal policy solutions to enable CO2 EOR projects in the Bakken; assistance to the government of Angola on development of E&P regulations, LNG taxation and gas market regulations; and comparative analysis of fiscal systems for the United States Department of the Interior.Ms Agalliu has provided independent expert review of proposed legislation governing petroleum upstream, midstream and downstream activities, revenue management in oil and gas, as well as local content participation, before legislatures of several African nations. Ms. Irena Agalliu holds an LLM with distinction in Petroleum Law Policy and Economics from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN). Ms Agalliu was elected to the Board of AIPN in 2008 and served as vice president of external affairs for the 2009-2011 term and vice president of planning for the 2011-2012 term. She is the co-chair of the AIPN Oil and Gas Asset Valuation Workshop.

Jon Story

He is responsible for managing a team of upstream specialists to deliver consultancy services to clients in Europe and the Middle East. He has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and is a regular speaker at conferences (CERAWeek, Africa Oil Week, WPC). Prior to joining IHS Markit, he was European Head of Oil and Gas clients for Standard Chartered Bank in London, UK. He spent 15 years as a managing director leading M&A teams with Standard Chartered and prior to that, Harrison Lovegrove and ABN Amro. Jon began his career as an petroleum engineer with BG E&P, and subsequently worked for Hardy Oil and Gas and British-Borneo Oil and Gas in various techncal and then commercial roles. Mr. Story graduated from Cambridge University, UK, with an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering.

Judson Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs studies the strategic implications and tactical applications of oilfield and digital technologies across the oil and gas value chain in the current role. His recent research includes the role of technology in managing oil and gas GHG emissions, new technology commercialization strategies and open innovation models, and the growing role of digital technology in field development and asset operations.Prior to joining IHS Markit Mr. Jacobs worked as a management consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group and held senior engineering positions with Schlumberger and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Mr. Jacobs hold a BSE from Princeton University and an MS in Geology from Stanford University.

Justin Pettit

Mr. Pettit is an advisor to the oil & gas industry with more than twenty-five years of experience as a management consultant, bulge-bracket investment banker and oil company corporate development executive.After working internationally as a process engineer, Mr. Pettit entered the oil & gas sector as a senior business planner with Norcen Energy Resources. He went on to a successful career on Wall Street, making Partner at a boutique restructuring firm, serving as Global Head of Strategic Advisory for UBS Investment Bank (IBD) and co-leading Booz & Company's global M&A advisory service line, as a Lead Partner in the energy and chemicals practice. Mr. Pettit is the author of three business books - most recently, "The Final Frontier: E&P's Low-Cost Operating Model" (Wiley, 2018) and is Associate Editor on the Editorial Committee of the journal, "Energy GeoScience." He holds a BASc (mechanical engineering) from University of Toronto and MBA from Western University (Canada).

Mark Jelinek

His expertise includes strategic planning for oil and gas assets, directing capital investment in support of production and strategy plans, and corporate strategy in the energy industry. Recently, Mark led a major program with a global IOC's Technology group to understand long-term technology impact on oil and gas resources globally, developing frameworks to assess technology impact and application of those frameworks to major hydrocarbon provinces - the framework was rolled out for a number of countries. Mark also led the Oil & Gas supply team in IHS Markit developing country and global supply outlooks and analysis. Previously, he was a senior consultant in Oil and Gas, with Strategic Decision Group prior to its acquisition by IHS Markit. Mr. Jelinek holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College, London, UK, and he is fluent in Farsi, Czech, French, and German.

Michael Marinovic

Mr. Marinovic, Vice President, leads IHS Markit's E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk team, which provides clients with information, analysis and insights on above-ground considerations affecting the attractiveness of Upstream investments around the world. Before that he led Upstream consulting teams responsible for development of corporate and asset strategies, as well as supporting governments in assessing competitiveness of their investment terms improving their investment terms. Mr. Marinovic's previous experience includes being a Partner in the Oil & Gas Practice of Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) and performing both technical and operating roles at Exxon Chemical Company. Mr. Marinovic holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Nick Lowes

He focuses on solving complex customer challenges by combining IHS Markit data, research and analytical capabilities to create high value solutions, which can be embedded in customer workflows. He has over 30 years of experience across a broad range of oil and gas company activities, working as an advisor to many national and international oil and gas companies and governments on issues ranging from national energy policy to E&P strategy development. He has led reorganization and process re-engineering exercises, and has designed and implemented corporate-level and project-level management systems. He has worked with companies in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Russia, Central and East Asia and South America. Mr. Lowes was formerly a principal with Strategic Decision Group's oil and gas practice prior to its acquisition by IHS Markit. Previously, he was a senior manager with the management consulting firm Arthur D Little Ltd., and spent 15 years in engineering and project management for major oil and gas projects where he held positions with both operators and engineering companies in UK, Australia, Malaysia and Oman. Mr. Lowes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Sciences from Cambridge University and a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from Imperial College, London University, both UK. He completed his MBA with the UK Open University Business School and he is a Member of the UK Energy Institute.

Pritesh Patel

Mr. Patel is responsible for the cost and expenditure, rigs, onshore, offshore and equipment services, as well as cost consulting offerings from IHS Markit. He is an expert in oil and gas conceptual development studies, both onshore and offshore. During more than 20 years of domestic and international experience in project management and strategic consulting, Mr. Patel has investigated the full range of offshore oilfield development scenarios, including subsea systems, floating production systems and boosting technologies. Thomas Kellock

Mr. Kellock is responsible for consulting projects related to all aspects of this market. Customers for this service are typically oil and gas companies, drilling contractors, and financial institutions, but also have included equipment suppliers and government agencies. Mr. Kellock has provided assistance to legal firms working with companies involved in contract disputes relating to the offshore industry. He is a well-known speaker, presenting to four or five industry conferences per year. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Kellock held posts with oil field service companies and a drilling contractor, including roles in operating, managerial, and corporate positions in Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, and South America. During this time, he worked on all types of offshore and onshore rigs. He spent seven years with a major management consultancy, working mainly in Europe and North and South America. Mr. Kellock holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from Magdalen College, Oxford University, United Kingdom, and an MBA from the London Business School, United Kingdom.

Based in Houston, Ms. Montero manages, advises and participates in upstream consulting engagements where she leverages her analytics and petroleum economics expertise to enable clients to evaluate prospective investments and/or fiscal systems. She has been working with IHS Markit upstream groups in the US and the Middle East for 14 years. Before this, Ms. Montero spent 5 years with Schlumberger where she held various analytics and audit roles. Ms. Montero typically leads due diligences, bid-round support, resources/fiscal benchmarking or market entry strategy engagements. Her practical expertise includes petroleum fiscal systems, exploration benchmarking, basins and plays evaluations, strategy formulation and modelling, advanced geospatial and statistical analytics and cost factors analysis. She has collaborated with IHS Markit research with contributions to studies such as "The Replacement Imperative", "Fueling North America Future" or "Shale Gas Reloaded". Ms. Montero holds a master's degree in finance from the University Rene Descartes (Paris V) and completed a certificate in petroleum projects evaluation and management at Texas A&M Harold Vance School of Engineering, US.

Curtis Smith

Mr. Smith, a director at IHS Markitarkt, is an integral part of IHS Markit Energy's Upstream Strategic Consulting Practice responsible for oil and gas supply and forecasting, as well as other strategic projects including North American and International basin studies and play analysis, market studies, mapping and technical analysis, and workflow based client training. Mr Smith has been at IHS Markit Energy for 23 years and previously worked at Marathon Oil Company and ConocoPhillips Company, Oil Majors.While his experience covers a wide range of technical and business related projects as well as training and support, his key strength is a knowledge of technical and business data and products (with a strong focus on IHS Markit data, tools and products) and their use and application in the upstream oil and gas industry, particularly in the realm of Unconventional Resources. Current and recent projects include an emphasis on unconventional resources. With respect to unconventional resources he has both worked and managed aspects of technical and commercial evaluations including geologic properties, engineering well performance, development cost, the use of technology and future potential, and economic analysis for the majority of important unconventional plays in North America.
