|Dataset Name||Dataset Description||Data Format||Publishing Frequency|
|Maritime Zones||A list of latitudes and longitudes for 15 major maritime zones used to form polygons to join with other Ship Movements datasets.||Parquet||Variable|
|Current Port Calls||Dataset reports ships currently in port and includes arrival date, port name, country, ship name and IMO number.||CSV||Daily|
|Port and Anchorage Callings||This dataset provides global vessel callings to Ports, Anchorages, STS areas, Locks and Shipyards. Callings are reported once a vessel has departed a port. All vessel types are included from cargo-carrying ships to pleasure craft. Vessel transits are also reported in this dataset. Transits are reported when a vessel passes through a canal or a strait. Fields include vessel name, type, IMO number, arrival and departure date/time, draught on arrival and departure, country, port of call, port lat/long, the previous port of call, and transits. Calling data files are available from 2010 to present.||CSV||Daily|
|Berth Calls||This dataset provides global vessel callings to Berths. Callings are reported when a vessel enters and subsequently departs a berth zone. As of 23/04/2020 the IHS Ports database contains 38,240 berths. Fields include vessel name, type, IMO number, arrival and departure date/time, draught on arrival and departure, country, port of call, berth name, berth lat/long. Files are run on a daily basis and report all global berth callings within the last day.||CSV||Daily|
|AIS Positions Terrestrial||Latest ship positions reported on a daily basis. Only one ship positions is reported per ship, per file. Ships report their positions in AIS messages which are picked up by the IHS Markit network of over 2,000 land-based antenna. This dataset does not report AIS ship positions picked up by satellite, therefore positions in this dataset will typically only be picked up within 30nm of land where an antenna is in place.||CSV||Daily|
|AIS Positions Combined||Latest ship positions reported on a daily basis. Only one ship position is reported per ship, per file. Ships report their positions in AIS messages which are picked up by the IHS Markit network of over 2,000 land-based antenna and 33 satellites. This dataset reports AIS ship positions picked up by both satellite and antenna and offers better coverage of ship positions than the terrestrial dataset.||CSV||Daily|
