Reduce the cost and complexities of OTC trade clearing

Through its connectivity to central counterparties (CCPs), the Portfolio Valuations service provides OTC cleared prices in a single, consolidated feed.

Our service simplifies the process for clearing OTC trades by reducing the cost and complexity attributed to in-house solutions. With each CCP having its own method, timing and format of delivery, the CCP connectivity process is becoming increasingly costly and difficult to manage, particularly for institutions clearing through multiple CCPs.

IHS Markit Portfolio Valuations service is connected to all CCPs actively clearing OTC trades, and it will continue to connect to new CCPs as they make their services available. You can obtain cleared prices from all of your CCPs in a consistent and timely manner using a single interface, significantly reducing operational burden.

Additionally, you can use our valuations as the primary pricing source for cleared trades where the CCP price is not available in time to strike a NAV. You can independently validate the cleared price using IHS Markit valuation or leverage our valuations as a second source of CCP cleared prices. We can also provide trade-level risk sensitivities on cleared prices.

Our single platform further provide valuations and risk measurement for exchange-traded, OTC cleared and bilateral derivatives, private equity and cash instruments, alongside your internal and counterparty marks.
