Samuel Andrus

Bringing prior operational and trading experience in natural gas and power markets. Mr. Andrus is responsible for the North American gas analytics practice that covers modeling of natural gas supply, demand, storage and price, including support of short-, intermediate- and long-term market outlooks. He helps clients to understand the relationship between physical and financial natural gas markets relative to the development of natural gas contracting and hedging strategies. In addition to his focus on gas market fundamentals, he specializes in the operation and commerciality of interstate pipelines and underground storage. He has contributed to numerous IHS Markit shale-related research projects such as "America's New Energy Future," and "Fueling the Future with Natural Gas."Previously, Mr. Andrus provided consulting services to the energy industry and helped start and manage energy trading organizations, overseeing natural gas trading and risk management, including short- and long-term hedging of gas production and fuel supply for full requirements power contracts. He participated in US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Canada's National Energy Board regulatory proceedings. He began his career with ANR Pipeline Company where over 19 years he held a range of technical and managerial positions in reservoir engineering, pipeline operations, facility planning, and business development.Mr. Andrus holds a Bachelor of Arts from Adrian College, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the University of Detroit, US.

Lisa Pearl

Her expertise includes market opportunity discovery and scenario planning. Ms. Pearl has contributed to several IHS Markit multiclient studies regarding Southeast Asia, China, Brazil and Mexico. Previously, she led the IHS Markit Mexico Energy team in Mexico City and the Southern Cone Energy team in Rio de Janeiro. Emanuel Simon

Mr. Simon focuses on cost, technology, and power policies for Latin America. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Simon was with Siemens (Chemtech), where he was involved in conceptual and detailed engineering design for projects in the oil and gas industry, energy efficiency, electrical power quality for industrial facilities, and risk analysis for the downstream sector. He also held a post as business developer engineer responsible for business strategies in the downstream and power sector. Mr. Simon holds a bachelor's degree from Federal University of Santa Catarina, did his postgraduate studies in engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, and holds a Master of Science from UFRJ.

David Crisostomo

Mr. Crisostomo's research and analysis includes gas and electricity market fundamentals, modeling, regulatory framework analysis, and implications for business opportunities. His research has included natural gas transportation studies, distributed power potential in Mexico and Latin America, power generation and transmission investment opportunities, asset valuations, and the analysis of operational and investment strategies for utilities, financial institutions, and other market participants. Before joining IHS Markit, Mr. Crisostomo was at Iberdrola Spain, where he developed a power dispatch tool for the Spanish market, and prior to Iberdrola, he worked at ABB. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, a Master of Science from the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, and a Master of the Electricity Sector from the Pontifical University Comillas in Madrid, Spain.

Mr. Gabel has taken part in projects across Latin America and Europe, focusing on gas and power price projections, power generation and transmission outlooks, asset valuations, and the analysis of operational and investment strategies for utilities, financial institutions, and other market participants.
