The Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation (The Netherlands) are Pioneers in Aviation Regulatory Training.
For the current legal framework applicable, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the sole competent Agency in all aviation matters, scope and responsibilities inter alia since the initial Basic Regulation (EC) No1592/2002 of 15 July 2002. In the meantime, the Basic Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 has entered into force on 11 of September 2018.
The European Commission has issued transition measures on all JARs requirements and procedures which would be grandfathered, as well as the latest applicable deadlines inter alia by which the Type Certificates had to be replaced under the EASA Legal Framework.
The Joint Aviation Authorities used to issue the JARs (Joint Aviation Requirements). Due to continuing airworthiness needs, the JARs form part of the referential historical documents that Maintenance and Type Certificates organisations amongst others, need to have in their administration.
Customers can order these referential historical documents, such as JAR-25, on this page.
