Process Economics Program (PEP) provides independent process analysis and unbiased assesment of production economics, including OPEX (operating costs) and CAPEX (capital investment costs), for new, improved, or emerging chemical, refinery, midstream, power and energy production processes. Key contents include design basis, process flow diagream, material and energy balance, stream flow and composition, equipment list, capital investment costs, variable costs, utilities consumption, and production cost table.. Each year, PEP publishes 10 reports, each generally evalues 3 competing processes, and 15 reviews, each analyzes one process. Currently, PEP has 600+ reports and 500+ reviews in our portfolio, covering competing production processes for 300+ chemicals.
