Jeremy Carlson

Mr. Carlson specializes in the areas of autonomous driving, mobility, and automotive technology. He has worked in automotive electronics market research, forecasting, and analysis with a focus on driver assistance, sensors, autonomous vehicles, and mobility since 2008. Complementary research includes technical topics, regulation and legislation, and the growth of new and emerging technologies into markets around the world. He has extensive experience in making presentations to clients and media worldwide.He has worked with a number of OEM, supplier, and technology companies in supporting both syndicated and custom analysis to support critical business decisions that shape the landscape of the automotive and transportation industries. Mr. Carlson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, US, including a period of study at the Università di Bologna, Italy.

Brian Rhodes

Mr. Rhodes primary responsibilities include looking after research related to automotive connectivity, infotainment, and in-vehicle user experience. His role also includes speaking to the market on behalf of IHS Markit at automotive technology-related conferences.Prior to joining IHS Markit in 2015, his work experience includes several market research positions in automotive, finance, and urban development. Brian received both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Phil Amsrud

Having spent over 35 years in the automotive electronics industry working for an OEM, supporting Tier 1s and managing North America for a semiconductor supplier, Phil joined IHS Markit to analyze the ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle semiconductor market.Phil began his career in the automotive electronics as a design engineers at GM on the ABS program. From there he joined Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector supporting Delphi Electronics then became part of Freescale Semiconductor that was spun off form Motorola. At Freescale he managed the filed sales and applications engineers supporting Continental Automotive.After obtaining his Master's in business, Phil joined ON Semiconductor and was responsible for field sales and applications team in the Americas region supporting Continental Automotive. Phil also served as a new business development manager for the America for BAE System/Fairchild Imaging prior to joining IHS Markit. Phil holds both Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Business from the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison, US.

Graham Evans

Mr. Evans is Director, Supply Chain, and Technology within the Automotive department at IHS Markit. He leads the global research practice for Powertrain, E-Mobility, and Thermal Systems Component Forecasting. His research interests lie in the areas of batteries, motors, power electronics, charging infrastructure, legislation, and incentives, as well as conventional powertrain components and technologies such as exhaust after treatment. He is also Manager of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Research & Analysis team.Previously employed in engineering positions within the automotive industry, Mr. Evans has 10 years' experience in Powertrain Development and Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) having previously worked for Ricardo, Bentley Motors, and Jaguar Land Rover.Mr. Evans graduated from Loughborough University in the UK with a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering and is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Paolo Martino

Mr. Martino is Associate Director in the Supply Chain & Technology group and is Practice Leader for the Chassis and Materials domains, coordinating and directing a global team of analysts on researching these two topics. He has 10 years of experience working in the automotive industry, helping OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers grow. Thanks also to his previous work in consulting, where he worked until mid-2016, he has been involved in multiple projects assessing OEM lightweighting and materials strategies or evaluating new technology trajectories for Tier 1 Suppliers in the chassis domain. Before then he was a consultant in Lean Management at a management consultancy in Italy.Mr. Martino holds a Master of Science in Economics and Management of Innovation & Technology and a Bachelor in Business Administration, both from Bocconi University in Milan.

Edwin Pope

Mr. Pope specializes in forecasting the automotive materials market through a cross functional analysis of the entire vehicle lifecycle. His expertise includes material usage and manufacturing techniques in body structures, chassis, and propulsion systems. He closely follows trends in 3D Printing, alternative fuels and performance engineering. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Pope worked as a Mass Integration Engineer at a global leading American automotive OEM on one of the highest volume premium sportcars. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is based in Southfield, Michigan. His continuing afterhours automotive education focuses on fabrication.

Mr. Martini is a principal research analyst for Thermal domain since February 2020. His primary focus lies in the areas of climate control, powertrain cooling as well as hybrid and electric vehicles thermal management. He had previously worked with a major OEM supplier for 13 years within Engineering and Project Management, Thermal Division both in Italy and in the USA.Mr. Martini graduated from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy with a master's degree in Automotive Engineering and is a Chartered Member of Institution of Industrial Engineers in Turin, Italy
