Mark Boyadjis

Mr. Boyadjis is responsible for developing custom research for IHS Markit clients in automotive UX, ADAS, autonomous driving, connectivity, software and related areas. He is an automotive industry thought-leader and has been a key member of the group for more than 13 years. Mr. Boyadjis is tasked with developing and incubating new research initiatives from specific technologies to new domains, as well as driving innovation and strategic investment for our customers and the industry as a whole. Regarded as a leader in Infotainment and HMI business practices, technology insights, and competitive intelligence, he is an often-quoted expert and presenter at several forums on behalf of IHS Markit. He has led projects and research that have aided many automakers, tier one, and tier two suppliers in designing, implementing, and executing global scale strategic automotive technology goals in core product lines. Mr. Boyadjis holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and Master of Science in Management of Technology (MS MOT) from the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering, both United States.

Tanja Linken

Tanja Linken is responsible for consulting automotive OEMs in defining optimal retail networks, maximizing sales performance and service retention, and effectively managing dealerships. Her experience of 50+ dealer network optimization projects comprises mature and emerging markets likewise. She contributes to the development of proprietary spatial models, including IHS Markit's award-winning "New Retail" methodology which combines geo-marketing techniques and data assets from both automotive and non-automotive fields in a unique, innovative way, allowing an omni-channel planning approach that includes online and offline customer touchpoints and diversified retail formats. Over the past 15 years Tanja has held several analytical and advisory positions, with a focus on geomarketing and retail planning. Prior to joining the automotive industry, she gained her professional experience with urban planning agencies. Tanja graduated with a Diploma degree in Applied Geography from Bochum University, Germany.

Michael Robinet

Mr. Robinet was promoted to executive director of Automotive Advisory Services at IHS Markit in December 2018 - driving industry thought leadership in the field of light vehicle automotive market dynamics and supplier strategy. From December 2011 to November 2018, he was the managing director leading the North American Automotive Advisory Team. Until late 2011, he served as the Director of Global Vehicle Production Forecasts from 1996. In his role as executive director in the global automotive advisory practice, Mr. Robinet builds upon his experience as a leader and innovator in automotive research. He works with decision makers at suppliers and OEMs in the fields of supplier strategy/profitability, global production forecasting, tracking future product programs (FPPs), analyzing sourcing and production strategies to serve OEM, supplier and government entities throughout the global auto ecosystem. Mr. Robinet has over three decades of experience in automotive forecasting, strategic analysis and manufacturing finance. Prior to joining CSM Worldwide, now part of IHS Markit, he worked at several research companies and was schooled in finance at a Tier 1 supplier. He regularly consults with industry executives and presents at global OEM and supplier conferences/symposiums and is widely quoted by worldwide media on a variety of critical industry topics.Mr. Robinet holds an undergraduate degree in economics and an MBA, both from the University of Windsor, Canada. He is a board member of the Automotive Hall of Fame, the Canada-US Business Association (CUSBA) and the Original Equipment Supplier Association (OESA). He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Automotive Press Association (APA), Detroit Economic Club (DEC) and the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA). Mr. Robinet pens a monthly column called 'Supplier Eye' for SAE's Automotive Engineering Magazine.

Kristen Balasia

Ms. Balasia's team is responsible for developing and delivering actionable solutions to the problems that matter most to the automotive industry. By connecting the dots between market leading data and forecasts, her team brings custom analytics and a sense of curiosity to drive critical decisions relating to electrification, charging, technology platforms, retail, consumer and market strategic planning. Her passion for her client's business brings innovation and provocative thought leadership to the decision makers creating change.Ms. Balasia hosts a monthly podcast, Fuel for Thought, with guest experts on todays most critical topics. She has also been on panels and presented on topics such as retail transformation, the economic impact of COVID, the changing product landscape and industry loyalty. She brings over 20 years of experience in roles across consulting, sales, purchasing, logistics and program management. She has served the automotive, commercial vehicle, retail and professional services industries.Prior to her tenure with IHS Markit, Ms. Balasia served as Business Unit Director at Air International (a Global Tier 1 HVAC & PTC automotive supplier) where she led a global cross functional team responsible for several major global OEM programs. Over her time with the company she also served as Director of Program Management, Program Manager - GM Business and leadership roles in purchasing. Ms. Balasia has also held roles pertaining to planning and logistics within the automotive and retail industries. She has led and worked closely with teams, suppliers and customers around the world. Ms. Balasia earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Mr. White provides consulting support for automotive OEMs, national sales companies, and dealer groups in defining and executing Retail Performance strategies. Focus areas include Retail Performance, Network Planning, Market Analysis, Custom Forecasting, and Future Retail. His 20+ years of automotive experience include leading Network Development, Retail Experience, and Strategic Planning functions for Audi of America. Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of International Policy both from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
