Warren Waite, a director at IHS Markit, is an expert in North
American natural gas markets.
Mr. Waite has in-depth and broad knowledge of regional supply,
demand, and price dynamics across the United States, Canada, and
Mexico. Mr. Waite has written numerous insights on regional gas
market dynamics. He has presented on natural gas, power, NGLs, and
oil topics at industry conferences, trade groups, and private
events. Before joining IHS Markit, Mr. Waite was manager of North
American gas and power content for Platts and Bentek Energy, where
he oversaw a team of analysts and shared editor duties for
newsletters and reports. Earlier in his energy career, he held
positions with several marketing and trading organizations in
Chicago, Illinois, and Houston, Texas, where he managed scheduling
desks, valued structured transactions and assets, and traded
physical natural gas within the Gulf Coast, Midwest, and Northeast.
Mr. Waite holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University,
United States, and an Energy Risk Professional designation from the
Global Association of Risk Professionals.
