Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan is an economist and researcher and is an analyst for several Asian countries.
His duties include econometric analysis and forecasting and scenario construction, as well as writing on both economic and political developments. He also works on exchange rates and multicountry trade analysis. Ryan has researched international finance, industry analysis, and studies of business cycles and productivity growth. His academic career included three years in Japan, where he taught at Temple University's Tokyo campus, and he was a professor at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for 10 years before joining IHS Markit. He has been published in several journals. Ryan received his doctoral degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
