Martin Railton

Head of Advisory EMEA, Corporate Solutions, IHS Markit

Martin runs the Advisory desk for EMEA, providing guidance to Corporates with regards to investor behaviour and engagement.

Martin has been with IHS Markit for over eleven years, working exclusively within the Issuer Solutions group. During his time with the company he has provided guidance to clients across EMEA, covering the full range of IHS Markit’s Corporate Advisory services. Those services include shareholder surveillance, investor targeting, capital flows insights, investor perception, and proxy solicitation. Over the last two years he has worked closely with the advanced analytics team, applying data science to IHS Markit’s unique datasets to provide more actionable intelligence to clients. Martin now runs the Advisory desk for EMEA, which includes the services of Investor Targeting, IHS Markit Intelligence and IR Roadmap. Prior to joining the company, Martin was head of European research at the ratings agency and financial publisher, Citywire. Martin is a CFA charterholder.
