Customer LoginsMr. Mooney is a senior business intelligence and communications professional with more than two decades of experience in international supply chains, maritime and air cargo logistics, and international trade policy and processes. He is an expert in supply chain and logistics processes and trends; supply chain and logistics companies; global and regional sourcing and logistics trends; supply chains in Asian emerging markets; containerized and air cargo supply chains and logistics and international trade policy and processes. He is an expert in container port infrastructure and investment, including national and international development programs such as Belt & Road, container port demand and port productivity and congestion.
Over the course of his career Mr. Mooney worked on major consulting projects for Accenture, Boston Consulting Group and a variety of global multinational corporations and financial institutions. He is regularly invited as an expert speaker at global industry conferences and in 2019 addressed the Box Club meeting of the CEOs of the world's largest global shipping lines which took place in Shanghai. He has been interviewed and quoted in various global and regional media including CNN, Foreign Policy, the Wall Street Journal and Japan's Nikkei Review, as well as a variety of prestigious industry journals, books and whitepapers.
He worked previously for the Geneva-based International Air Transport Association (IATA) as secretary of the industry Global Compliance User Group focused on global air cargo rules and regulations; and as a journalist with Lloyd's of London Press in Hong Kong in the late 1990s. Mr. Mooney was on the founding advisory board of the Singapore-government backed non-profit industry group Supply Chain Asia. He hold a B.A., a Graduate Diploma in Communications, and an M.A. with specialization in international law and international trade.
