Ms. Maguire is responsible for overseeing the development of the service and leads the Macro Scenario Advisory Board. She joined Macroeconomic Advisers, later acquired by IHS Markit in 2017, as a managing director for the MacroScenario Stress Testing Services in April 2012. Prior to joining Macroeconomic Advisers, she was founder and president of ThinkResearch, a New York-based strategic business and economic consulting firm where she was responsible for developing thought leadership on several topics, most recently research on the value of enterprise risk management. Previously, Ms. Maguire was global director of research for the Financial Advisory Services Group at PwC. Ms. Maguire held positions as vice president and principal economist with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco where she was responsible for directing the firm's economic research, analysis and forecasting. Earlier, she held positions as senior economist in the US group of the Economics - Policy Research Department of the Bank of America, specializing in long-term US macro forecasting and assistant vice president and western region manager with AUS Consultants, managing projects in economic development, forecasting and financial analysis to several industries. While working in San Francisco, Ms. Maguire was a lecturer in financial analysis, microeconomics and macroeconomics at the University of California at Berkeley. She is a member of the National Association for Business Economics and its New York affiliate and holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, US.
