Mr. Kennedy specializes in assessing the security and economic risks associated with political decision-making across the MENA region, with a focus on Egypt, Israel and the Arabian Gulf. He regularly briefs clients on Egypt's domestic security and stability, conflict risk in Israel, and the evolution of diplomatic and political relationships within the Gulf Cooperation Council. Prior to IHS Markit, he worked as Middle East analyst for a corporate and political risk consultancy firm in Scotland. Mr. Kennedy holds an MLitt in Middle East and Central Asia Security Studies from the University of St Andrews and Master of Arts in Arabic and Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, both Scotland.
