Senior Research Analyst – Gas, Power, and Energy Futures, IHS Markit
Tianshi Huang is senior research analyst with the Gas, Power, and
Energy Futures team at IHS Markit, specializing in China's gas
market analysis.
Mr. Huang's research focus includes natural gas supply, pipeline
development, policy analysis, and China's provincial energy and
energy company profiles. He also participates in consulting work on
the Chinese gas market. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Mr. Huang was
a reservoir engineer at Eni in China, carrying out reserves
evaluation, classification, and reporting; preparing deterministic
and probabilistic production budgets and forecasts through
simulation models and decline curve analysis; and formulating
development plans for new fields. Based in Beijing, Mr. Huang holds
a bachelor's degree in geological engineering from China University
of Petroleum and a master's degree in petroleum engineering from
the University of Tulsa, United States. He is fluent in Mandarin
Chinese and English.
