Research & Analysis Manager – Smart Utilities Infrastructure, IHS MarkitDavid Green is a research and analysis manager for the Smart Utilities Infrastructure team at IHS Markit.
Mr. Green is responsible for leading a team of analysts focused on the Smart Utilities intelligence services, research on key technology trends and consumer analysis for smart metering and AMI-related software/services. He has recently presented at events such as European Utility Week and Distributech on the rise of AMI as a leading case study for IoT adoption. Previously when responsible for wireless power research at IHS Markit, he was a frequent speaker at wireless power conferences and events across the globe. He has also worked within Video Surveillance Research at IHS Markit and before that, spent five years working in an automotive technical consultancy on vehicle anti-theft, crime and security research. Mr. Green holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Cardiff University, Wales, and is based in the company's Wellingborough, UK office.
