Bob Flanagan leads the Economic Impact Analysis Practice. Bringing over 30 years of consulting, product development, and manufacturing experience to this role, Flanagan advises clients on strategies to strengthen their stakeholder engagement programs by effectively communicating the economic and social contributions stimulated by their business operations. In addition, Flanagan counsels clients on the economic ramifications of potential disruptive shifts in their markets and industries, including: major capital projects; emergent competitive threats; new policy or regulatory directions; deployment of new technology. Prior to joining Global Insight (now part of IHS Markit) in 2007, Flanagan held senior positions with premier technology consulting and market research organizations. At IBM Global Services, he was a charter member of the firm's Internet Consulting Practice. He directed Cambridge Technology Partners' Knowledge Management Practice and was a core member of the thought leadership team. At the Yankee Group, he launched research service offerings covering collaborative computing and internet strategies Flanagan holds a High Technology MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
