Fred Filler, Director of engineering content, has responsibility for the engineering, science, and professional reference publications available through IHS Markit’s Product Design division.
Mr. Filler oversees the development of IHS Markit's partnered content across all areas. He utilizes data and trend analysis, business relationships, customer feedback, his own engineering background in automotive and defense, as well as decades of knowledge from science and technical marketing to enable customers to have access to the solutions they need for their current and future challenges. As part of this process, Mr. Filler speaks to dozens of organizations and corporations each year regrading their goals and difficulties. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, he is a frequent contributor to publications regarding the current and future utilization of content as well as trends in science, technology, and budgeting. Mr. Filler possesses an engineering degree and postgraduate experience in materials science from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
