Customer LoginsMr Ellis is the Principle Economist responsible for the African continent in IHS Markit's Vantage asset valuation service. Mr. Ellis leads economic, fiscal and regulatory research, analysis, and modelling of a wide range of upstream and midstream developments across Africa. His 15 years of experience in the industry includes direct experience in host government and JV contract negotiation, experience in target generation, greenfield exploration, geological modelling, resource valuation, and decision economics.
Prior to joining the Vantage economics team, he was a technical research analyst leading research into oil and gas fields for IHS Markit international E&P databases. Mr. Ellis has worked as a consultant geologist providing exploration project evaluation and due diligence services throughout South America. Mr. Ellis holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Geology from the University of Manchester.
