Florian Eichinger, an associate director at IHS Markit, focuses on powertrain and compliance forecasts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He manages EMEA sales and production based Powertrain Forecasts and leads a team of experienced automotive analysts for IHS Markit in Europe. Florian joined CSM Worldwide in 2008 as an analyst of European powertrain forecasts, where he specialized in research and the creation of a series of highly-detailed powertrain forecasts in engine and alternative propulsion areas covering EMEA. Prior to joining CSM Worldwide, he gained experience in R&D with a truck OEM and in the supplier industry.Florian holds a engineering diploma from the University of Applied Sciences Landshut. He is based in Munich, Germany and speaks German and English.
