Chris DeLucia

Associate Director, Upstream Companies and Transactions

Chris DeLucia is an Associate Director with the Upstream Companies and Transactions team, where he focuses on strategic and competitive dynamics within the upstream oil and gas segment.

Chris manages research and analysis pertaining to the upstream strategies and competitive positioning of international oil companies, and is also responsible for detailed portfolio models available to clients via the IHS Markit E&P Portfolio Tool. He also oversees work pertaining to oil and gas company strategies around the energy transition, including analysis of low-carbon investment activity. He initially joined PFC Energy (now part of IHS Markit) and has been with the company since 2013. Previously, he worked in investment banking at UBS, and has also held positions within economic and financial markets research. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and international studies from Colby College, and an MPA in international energy policy management from Columbia University. Chris is also a CFA charterholder.
