Mark Davis has the responsibility for the creation and managing of industry standards & codes products.
Mr. Davis oversees the product development and management of many of the major IHS Markit Engineering & Product Design Standards Developing Organizations (SDO) offerings, such as API, ASTM, ASME, BSI, DIN, ISO and GM. His role also includes analyzing the current product portfolio and strategizing new market opportunities. His knowledge of SDO content, various industries, and development/sales teams provides a unique vantage point from which to learn and solve problems. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, he is a leader in researching, developing new product offerings, analyzing data, and providing product support for IHS Markit Engineering & Product Design subscription/retail solutions. Mr. Davis has been instrumental in developing relationships with sales and customers, and he has been very effective in communicating ideas and information within the internal business.
