She leads the North America and Latin America research for the Downstream PV Intelligence Services, including the tracking and analyzing of both downstream projects and market policies. Ms. Chea is the covers the top system integrators (engineering, procurement, and construction companies) in Latin America, their PV installation pipeline, and their market share. Her research also includes analyzing the challenges and system price trends for the distributed generation segment in the region. Prior to joining IHS Markit, Ms. Chea worked in Brooklyn, New York, at a renewable energy financial advisory startup as part of its transaction advisory team. She also served at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC, for the Country Department Andean Group. Ms. Chea holds a Master of Arts in energy management and finance from Columbia University, United States. She speaks English and Spanish and is based in Austin, Texas.
