Customer LoginsAri Ashe joined the Journal of Commerce (JOC) in 2018 to cover maritime, rail and truck transportation. Mr. Ashe has been a reporter since 2006 after receiving a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. Mr. Ashe spent nine years covering local news in Washington DC for WTOP-FM, including three as the transportation beat reporter covering commuter issues. Mr. Ashe won a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative journalism for "The Ari Amendment", a piece of legislation out of a series into the traffic and parking ticket and adjudication system in Washington DC. In 2016, Mr. Ashe joined Transport Topics, a publication of the American Trucking Associations, covering the business of commercial transportation.
